There are many places to eat on the island from the quality high end resort foods to street venders and SantaFe even has its own in house Burger Junction where you can pig out on buy one take one egg cheese burger for less thn P60. On the street and in the jungle you can get native chicken leg BBQ for P25 a stick, pork BBQ for P10 and rice wrapped in banana leaf for P5 which tastes great if a little chewy (the chicken not the rice). When you arrive at Bantayan Town there is no shortage of good food outlets. At the harbour near the open market is a chain called Jelous where you can get a range of cheap meals and sit in a clean air conditioned dining area. Here a meal for two with viance, rice, drinks and ice pops came to well under P200. In town there is kermit's run by a local with great food and cool setting. On the way out of town after you cross the bridge on the right there is a chain called PingPing next to the hardware store which does good food at cheap prices. Well worth a visit.
